Standard Warranty Coverage
All PocketPlayr devices, including the R36S Retro Handheld Game Console, come with a standard limited warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Warranty Period
- 1 year from the date of purchase for all hardware components
- 90 days for accessories (controllers, cables, etc.)
- 30 days for refurbished devices
What's Covered
- Manufacturing defects
- Hardware malfunctions
- Dead pixels (exceeding manufacturer's tolerance)
- Battery issues (excluding normal degradation)
Special Note for R36S Models
The R36S Retro Handheld Game Console warranty specifically covers the 3.5" IPS screen, the internal 64GB/128GB storage, and all hardware components. The Linux system and pre-installed games are covered for functionality, but content modifications or deletions are not covered under warranty.
What's Not Covered
- Physical damage from accidents, misuse, or abuse
- Water damage or exposure to extreme conditions
- Normal wear and tear
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Software issues not related to hardware defects
- Lost or stolen devices

Extended warranty plans must be purchased within 30 days of your device purchase.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
1. Contact Customer Support
Reach out to our support team at warranty@pocketplayr.com or call +1 (800) 555-1234. Be ready to provide your device serial number and proof of purchase.
2. Troubleshooting
Our support team may guide you through some troubleshooting steps to determine if the issue can be resolved without returning the device.
3. Warranty Validation
If troubleshooting doesn't resolve the issue, we'll verify your warranty status and issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
4. Device Return
Send your device to our repair center using the shipping instructions provided. Make sure to include your RMA number with the shipment.
5. Repair or Replacement
After receiving and inspecting your device, we'll either repair it or send you a replacement, typically within 7-10 business days.

- Your name and contact information
- Device model and serial number
- Date and proof of purchase
- Detailed description of the problem
- Photos or videos of the issue (if applicable)
International Warranty
PocketPlayr provides international warranty coverage for all our devices, including the R36S model. However, shipping and processing times may vary depending on your location.
For international warranty claims, customers may be responsible for shipping costs to our nearest service center, and import duties or taxes if applicable.
